Removing board index block from a custom page

Post by luckyp79 » Sat Sep 20, 2008 6:34 pm

Ok following the tut on adding a custom page is easy enough. What I am trying to do is remove the block where it has all of the board index, UCP, FAQ, Search and so on. Do I need to create a different header file to include that has that block omitted or is there an easier way of doing it.

My goal is to create a page like this:
http://dev.sixstringromance.co.uk/

So all of my custom pages that are not really part of the forum do not include the forum stuff.

You could include simple_header.html, rather than overall_header.html in your template, or build your own header file.
