Add a New Custom Page to phpBB

Post by grovenor »

I have tried this tutorial from your Knowledge Base "Add a New Custom Page to phpBB"
It works very nicely except that it puts up this error message above the main title block
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 3562: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /merg-members.php:1)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 3564: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /merg-members.php:1)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 3565: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /merg-members.php:1)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 3566: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /merg-members.php:1)
How do I stop these lines appearing?
Thanks
Keith

Oh, sorry this is a 3.02 site, the address of the test added page is http://www.merg.org.uk/forum/merg-members.php
And I'm very new at this.
Thanks
Keith

Make sure there aren't any white spaces or extra lines before <?php or after ?> on your_new_page.php.

Thanks, that solved it.
notepad++ seems to put a 4 space tab at the beginning of every line, deleting that on the first line has done the trick.
