URL's and new lines

When posting multiple url's on new lines, BBCode only works on the first line and not across all lines eg:

This doesn't work...
http://www.phpbb.com/
http://www.phpbb.com/

[color=#000080]http://www.phpbb.com/
http://www.phpbb.com/[/color]

So in order to achieve this ...
http://www.phpbb.com/
http://www.phpbb.com/

We need to do this ...

I believe this is intended behaviour, but is there a easy'ish workaround so this isn't necessary?

If you make these lists a lot, I would make a template as a text file, fill in the urls, and then paste it into the post.
