Mozilla display problem

Post by Dielsel » Tue Sep 30, 2008 11:39 am

Hello all.
Board url:
http://forum.sem40.ru
Version of phpBB3: phpBB3.0.2
Was converted from phpBB 2.0.22
The installation and convertation passed OK.
There is no instaled MODes yet.
The problem started after installation. Few days I've tried to solve it, and the problem was solved:
I can see the forum correctly, but admin panel was still looked like without style or CSS.
In Internet Explorer 6 and 7 it looks correctly, but in Mozilla there is the problem.

I'm not a programmer, just advanced user.
Please help.
Thank you.

Check your css, it seems to only contain

Code: Select all

body {
	font-size: 10px;
}

You are looking at the "normal" stylesheet. That is only used to increase/decrease the font sizes ;). The others are filled: http://forum.sem40.ru/styles/prosilver/ ... esheet.css

Both webkit (safari) and Opera show the page as well correct. Try to upload a fresh style.php to your server, and clear the cache (both forum and template).
I don't know why FireFox(3) is the only browser that doesn't seem to load the stylesheets.

Done, but no result :cry:
Erik, one man said me that the problem may be in headers, that server send. May it be true?
Thank you.

I don't know what problem headers could cause for firefox. Just for testing, can you switch your default style to subSilver2 and see whether its a style related issue or something on your board.
I've had a suggesting that your language might cause the problem (to test this, switch temporarily to English).

Hi, Erik.
I've changed the style to subsilver2 and language to english British.
After renew the style and forum cache.
It's very strange, that in Internet Explorer the forum looks good,
but in Mozilla it looks like without CSS and in same language - in russian!

(I've checked it in many computers)
Thank you.
