That is telling you that your adm/style/admin.css is empty. Try re-uploading your adm/style/ folder.

Hi, Brf.
Thank you for reply.
I've checked it right now, and the css is not empty,
but i uploaded it.
The additional problem (Erik wrote me about it):
I changed the site language from Russian to English British,
and the result it, that in Internet Explorer is shows me the english version, but Mozilla have not changed.
Please look on this.
Thank you!

Ah.
It is not the CSS file. It is one of the HTML template files.
Have you re-uploaded that entire folder as I suggested?

Try clearing your browser cache (in all browsers)

it could be that IE has stored the good CCS (or mozilla has stored the bad)
macr.ae = my website. you probably won't like it.

That error message is occuring when PHP is trying to read an HTML template file from the directory. It has nothing to do with the user's webbrowser.

I don't have a solution but what I can tell you is if a CSS file has errors FF will not render the page with it. IE will ignore errors... For example a lot of these free hosts were injecting HTML into style.php for ads and it caused the css to fail in FF.
“Results! Why, man, I have gotten a lot of results! I have found several thousand things that won’t work.”

the CSS file is already have no error.
Now, there are no errors at all on the forum.
The just problem is that in Mozilla FF the page is loaded without a CSS.
What to do?

(sorry for bad english, i'm german)

maybe i can help with the error

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/acp/acp_styles.php on line 2431: fread(): Length parameter must be greater than 0
i got this error too, when i was trying to remove the "jumpbox" from my portal-page (cause this box breaks my page-layout).
my way to remove this box, was f.e. to clear the "jumpbox.html" from all data, so my "jumpbox.html" have 0 Byte filesize.
THIS causes in may ACP the error.

to fix this problem i entered some Bytes in the "jumpbox.html", but just a notice ;)
jumbox.html

Code: Select all

<!-- xxx //-->
maybe you have ANY file with 0 Bytes filesize, and your error results from this.
try to find if you have such a file. if you have one, check out why it's empty.
if it should be empty (f.e. from a reason i emtied my file), put notice like i did in the file.
