Large images breaking layout

Post by Seraphic »

Hi,

Is there a built in system to limit the widthxheight of linked images in phpbb3?

Admin control panel -> general tab -> board configuration -> post settings

There are options here to restrict the image size of linked images using the [ img ] tags.

Hi,

Thanks, found what you were talking about.
However, I set it 640x480 and it didn't do anything.
In the post I was trying to fix, the images are already linked to and did not change size.
Will this only not allow larger images in future posts?

It is not an image resize tool, that would require a mod ;) it is size restriction, as such it will only apply to images posted after the restrictions are applied :)

I recommend this mod that I wrote:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=1230555

Allows people to post images any width and height and will resize if they are too wide. Click the resized image and it will open a new window showing it in its full glory.
