Host limits 200 emails per hour, how to circumvent?

Post by Thaitanium » Thu Oct 16, 2008 11:40 am

How do I send emails to my 3000 members, is it possible to send 200 every hour or is there a way to extract the emails out of PHPBB3 and then use hotmail/gmail or something to send them

That would require a mod. You can manually extract all of the e-mails from your database by running the following query in phpMyAdmin:

Code: Select all

SELECT user_email FROM phpbb_users
Apply to become a Jr. Extension Validator
My extensions | In need of phpBB services? | Was I helpful today?
No unsolicited PMs unless you're planning on asking for paid help.
