I would suggest you first download the file from here. Unzip the file you download and and you'll find a folder inside named "docs". open that up and the open the file called install.

This provides detailed instructions on how to install phpbb.

I would suggest that you take my advice and install from scratch, it's pretty straight forward and easy to do. You can ask any questions here for things you do not understand.

Fantastico installs are not officially supported by phpBB.

Have you got a domain name and server space yet?
Have you got FTP access?
Have you downloaded phpBB3?
Have you decompressed and uploaded it?
Have you made the database yet?

Support is a 2 way process :)

From the download tab at the top of the forum.

Then extract it from the zip (on your local machine - and use th FTP program to do the following.

To create your DataBase you will need to use your domain control panel (which you got from your host) or which your host has provided you with the data, which would be at a minimum, Database Name, DB User Name and password.

Dont post the password for anyone to see.

The rest of the instructions are in the doc's folder in the download package.

Or ask your hosts how to do it as not all of them do it the same way.
