I wanted to put "*"s next to the required fields.

Humm, I was in there. Apparently I'm overlooking the text part of it. I see all the fields but not the actual text showing on the page.

Code: Select all
<tr>
<td class="row1" width="38%"><b class="genmed">{L_USERNAME}: </b><br /><span class="gensmall">{L_USERNAME_EXPLAIN}</span></td>
<td class="row2"><input class="post" type="text" name="username" size="25" value="{USERNAME}" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="row1"><b class="genmed">{L_EMAIL_ADDRESS}: </b></td>
<td class="row2"><input class="post" type="text" name="email" size="25" maxlength="100" value="{EMAIL}" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="row1"><b class="genmed">{L_CONFIRM_EMAIL}: </b></td>
<td class="row2"><input class="post" type="text" name="email_confirm" size="25" maxlength="100" value="{EMAIL_CONFIRM}" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="row1"><b class="genmed">{L_PASSWORD}: </b><br /><span class="gensmall">{L_PASSWORD_EXPLAIN}</span></td>
<td class="row2"><input class="post" type="password" name="new_password" size="25" value="{PASSWORD}" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="row1"><b class="genmed">{L_CONFIRM_PASSWORD}: </b></td>
<td class="row2"><input class="post" type="password" name="password_confirm" size="25" value="{PASSWORD_CONFIRM}" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="row1"><b class="genmed">{L_LOCATION}: </b></td>
<td class="row2"><input class="post" type="text" name="location" size="25" value="{LOCATION}" /></td>
</tr>

The {L_EMAIL_ADDRESS} and all the rest become replaced with the text.

Since I only have "British English" language pack, can I just remove the Drop List Language section of the ucp_register.html.

If I was to delete {L_USERNAME} and put "firstname.lastname" in it's place to alert people that this is the format required for usernames, would that change the functionality of the reg. page in some way? I tried it out and it doesn't seem to mess anything up but I figured I'd ask.
Thanks
