Setting custom file types for Attachments

Post by Saldash »

Your board's URL: http://wwworld-recoded.co.uk/forum
Version of phpBB3: Latest
Was this a fresh install or a(n) update/upgrade/conversion (please be specific)? Fresh Install
Did you use an automated wizard provided by your host to install phpBB? Installed manually
MODs you have installed: None
When the problem started: N/A
Your level of expertise (be honest): General Moderator Knowledge

I want to know how to set custom file types for the attachment system as well as setting up a moderators (and admin) only areas.
I want to dis-allow exe's, but approve MBD type files, and I want to set a section of the forum that can only be seen by moderator status and up..
Ive tried looking through help and searching but nothing of use has come up.

Any help would be great, thanks

Please be aware that we have a 6 hour bump rule.

Admin panel>posting

If you look in the attachment options at the extension management you can set up new extension types and allow/disallow others on which ever forums you want.
