username_clean and utf8 chars in it

Post by piegus »

Hi. I have a little problem.
I saw that in my database, in column username_clean every chars have UTF8 encoding but not letter ł which is replaced by .
Tip: In red circles are UTF8 chars.

After this what I see I think.
Why only this letter is spelled differently in my database?
Can i change it for my project?
Can anybody please tell me why is that?

I tried to change this into ł. But after this I can't login with my test user.
I will really appreciate how to solve this problem. To get in username_clean column this special char.

Nie wiem, co chcesz zrobić, ale może przyda Ci się funkcja utf8_clean_string() z pliku /includes/utf/utf_tools.php :)
Możesz obczaić funkcje związane z utf: http://area51.phpbb.com/docs/code/ (z listy po prawo wybierz utf).

I don't know, what you want do exactly, but function utf8_clean_string() might be helpful (file /includes/utf/utf_tools.php) :)
Check functions with utf8: http://area51.phpbb.com/docs/code/ (choose utf in select on the right).
