Change of user category

Post by ninanina » Tue Jan 13, 2009 8:50 pm

I had a forum installed by someone else. She appears now as the 'founder'. I will be the one administering the forum. She made me Administrator but my name is not in red and there are still a few things that I can't do. How can we change my category to 'founder' so I can have full control of the forum? Thank you.

To change yourself to a founder, go into your database program, phpmyadmin or whatever, and change your user-type to 3.

To change your name color, set the Administrators usergroup as your default group.

Thank you for your prompt response, but... one more question.. Where is the database program? I am new at this...

It would be somewhere on your Website's control panel.
