Its no MOD, it uses a script custom written for this site and the source isn't available for public use. There are however a couple of RSS MODs released/in development.

I have got RSS working on my site, if nothing else on here suits your needs post again and I will put something up later tonight.

You could try having a read HERE. I use this site, the code they generate isn't XHTML strict but I can alter that with a couple of edits.

Go to the site I previously linked and get your RSS code. To make that code XHTML strict you would need to modify it as per my example below, it is easy enough because you only need the "src="http://feed2js.org//your feed code here.html" part from your code then you can paste that in to my code.

Make a copy of overall_header.html just in case.

Open overall_header.html

Find:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF U_EMAIL_TOPIC --><li class="rightside"><a href="{U_EMAIL_TOPIC}" title="{L_EMAIL_TOPIC}" class="sendemail">{L_EMAIL_TOPIC}</a></li><!-- ENDIF -->
On a fresh line above paste:

Code: Select all

<li><script type="text/javascript">
			<!-- try{document.charset='utf-8';}catch(err){} //-->
		</script></li>

<li class="rightside"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://feed2js.org//your feed code here"></script></li>
		<li class="rightside"><b>Latest news &bull; </b></li>
The above will place a single line of RSS above FAQ Members Logout (have a look at my site via the link below if you wish) You can obviously place it where you like, I also have four lines of RSS just below one of my forum titles.

If you don't want the description remove:

Code: Select all

<li class="rightside"><b>Latest news &bull; </b></li>
