Do you have phpmyadmin on your site (or hosting account)? You can search for that string in the email field and then just select all results, and click the red x. ;)

Do NOT do as paud suggests. You should never delete users from the database.

Try the "purge users" option in the ACP.

It's not fully automatic. Did you have a look at what options it gives you?

I think you could ban users by IP ( *@supertq.info ) like you said. There is also an option to delete the users and posts with that.

Here's an example, assuming you want to prune all the users who have never activated their accounts.

Go into "ACP", "USERS & GROUPS", "Prune users"
Leave the "Username" and "E-mail" fields blank.
If you want to restrict this to users who joined after a specific date, enter the date (in YYYY-MM-DD format) into the "Joined" field. Otherwise leave it blank.
To select users who have never logged into the board, enter the "Last active" date as "before" "2000-1-1"
(anyone who has ever used your board will have a "last active" date after then)
"Delete pruned user posts:" doesn't matter for people who have never logged in, but you would set this to yes or no as desired if you were pruning members who HAD posted.
Set "Deactivate or delete:" to "Delete"

Now click on "Submit".
This will give you a list of all the usernames which satisfy the criteria. You can keep this page open, and shift-click on each username to open a new page to either view the public profile of the member, or administrate their account.
(You can manually delete them one by one inside the administrate page if you want.)
If you just want to delete the lot, then click on "Yes" on the "Confirm prune users" page.

Be careful, there is no going back once you have deleted a user!

I just deleted a bunch of spam posts and users through my database admin before finding this post also. But when I go to the viewforum page it says there are still 160 topics and 7 pages of posts, but really they are no longer there. How can I fix this?

Never, never, never edit the database directly to remove users or posts. There are multiple interlocked lists which will now be out of synch.
Doing it through the admin panel gives you the option to delete their posts.

If you go into the moderator control panel via the link displayed when viewing that forum, can you see the posts and topic? If yes, delete them there.

Thank you for you reply.

No, I do not see them, just the one post that I left since it was legitimate. Thanks for pointing out that link (had not seen it before). I just knew of the ACP.
