My forum members can`t attach files to posts.

Hello,
I have a member that cannot attach his files to posts.
I have another member that tells me that sometimes he can attach files to posts & sometimes he cannot, & that when he can attach files to posts the upload is really slow for him.
I myself have not experienced any of these problems myself 1st hand.
I have tried to purge the cache & delete the Admin. logs to help speed things up. Which isn`t really helping any.
Do I have to start deleting members old attachments. This would upset my forum membership.
Is there anything more I can do?

Neither oof those actions would speed anything up. Purging your cache will slow things down for the very next user!

No, this wouldn't make any difference, unless you have filled up your maximum disk quota allowed by your web host.

He can see the option, the upload starts then it stalls.

My Web Server provides me with unlimited disk space.

Please fill out the Support Request Template.

Also, give us some information about the file - size, extension? Can you upload (attach) that file?

Also post your Attachment settings.

Is your board a fresh install or a conversion? Fresh Install
Do you have any MODs installed? No
Please describe your problem. I have a forum member that cannot attach files to his posts. He can see the option & he can select it & it`ll start to upload, but for whatever reason the file does not show up on his post. I have another forum member that is able or sometimes not able to attach files to his posts. When he is able to attach files to his post he says the upload time takes a really long time.
What styles do you currently have installed? Black Pearl

What is your level of experience? New to PHP and phpBB

Since this happens with only two members and then only intermittently, I would wager that it is a function of their internet connection. The requested information might be helpful.

Please describe your problem. I have 1 forum member that cannot attach files to his forum posts. When he goes to make a post He sees the file attachment option & uses it & He sees the attachment upload graph moving, but the file does not show on his post. I have another forum member complaining that when he goes to attach a file to a post that it takes a long time to upload the file to his post & sometime the file does not attach to his post at all.

These files are images gifs, jpegs, ect.
I already told them to make sure that the smaller the file the faster the upload.
I can upload (attach) all of the same kind of files. No problem.
My attachment settings are set to allow attachments
Ok I just saw something..............
I had the max image dimensions set to 100x100
I changed it.
I am sure that this will solve my problem.
