Problem with Sub-Forums and PHP 5.2.9? ACK!

Hi guys...

I set up a forum running PHP 4 something or other.... And then recently the server updated my PHP to 5.2.9, and now I can't get the sub-forums to show in the parent legend no matter what I do?

Is there a way to fix this? *Blink*

Can you provide a test account so we can view the board, it's asking for login to view the forums.

Ok I can see the board now. You have a lot of forums....is one of the subforums you want to appear on the index page 'IEP Meetings' and it should be listed in the 'Education' forum, correct?

Yes. It is true I have a lot of forums. But this is a complex issue we are dealing with as well.

I thought the problem might be the upgrade to 3.0.4 so I restored the backup and it didn't work? Lost all data and users back to April 30th. ARGH!

Take a backup before doing a restore next time.

In your forum settings for "Education" do you have List subforums in legend: set to Yes and in the forum settings for "IEP Meetings" do you have List subforum in parent-forum’s legend: set to Yes?

Yeah see that's the thing. I have them ALL set to yes. They were there, then they just disappeared.

Okay the sub forums are back. But now I have two "ONLINE" banners showing for people online. Where is this banner located so i can fix it?

I think the problem was upgrading PHPBB with all these mods I have added. maybe not a good idea?

I only see one online banner at your index? At what page do you get it twice?

Maybe I wasn't all that clear...? What I meant was there are two "ONLINE" banners in the post displays. Reading a message from someone who is online and the notification shows on the right hand side.
