guys i think something really needs to be done, specially with phpbb3

have setup special fields during registration but doesnt seem to help ...do check on http://www.ibsrocks.com/forum/ucp.php?mode=register

am getting mass spam users posting porn and other stuff.....help !!!

The only field you have at registration that has anything to do with stopping spam is a two option dropdown. Half the spambots get lucky the first time and the other half just try again. You need to use a numeric field and/or a dropdown with more options.

hey so should i add more options to the dropdown field or is there any specific type of field i should add like whats 1+4 =

am trying to setup a custom field which is like 2+3 = ?

using dropwdown menu option i gave three options to user - 3, 5, 7

however when i click on profile specific options cant understand how this works -
Option equal to non entered value:
Value for a non-entry. If the field is required, the user gets an error if he choose the option selected here.

Spambots are co-opting my User Name to post spam. In my User Information, the IP Address listed is not the one my ISP uses. How can I resolve this issue. I don't want to Ban every IP Address the spammers are using.
