You said you don't have any MODs, so it isn't a MOD problem.

I suggest that you take a look at your permissions. Go to the ACP (Admin Control Panel) and then
go to the Users and Groups tab and then click the 'Groups' Permissions' link down the side and then
select the group and then choose their permissions.

If you haven't done any code changes or anything like that then this will probably be a permission
that has not been set when it should have been.

Well do you have a backup of your forum and database? If you can just restore and that should work.

Also, what actually happens? What do you mean they can't delete them, Do you mean the button
shows up or when they click to delete it comes up with an error?

If you restore a backup, you will lose all users and posts since you made the backup, so don't do that.

The applicable permission would be in Global Permissions, Groups permissions, Advanced, Private messages, Can remove private messages from own folder, Yes.

Run the user-based permissions mask on a username to make sure there is not a Never permission for this somewhere.

As for the log files in the ACP, same deal but the permission is in Global permissions, Adminstrators, Advanced, Misc, Can clear logs

This is doing my head in lol...... have tried all mentioned but am still getting the errors! The strangest part of it is say i go to delete the log of errors i go and "select all" then click the delete button and the screen changes to another page which is all white and in the top left corner are 2 small colums about 4cm x 1cm with autenticate above them is this correct to have these? i never noticed these before updating to 3.0.5 but saying that i never tried deleting the logs before either so i dont know if the page came up before either.
