Since the board is clean. No mods you can always try to reupload the files. (one might be missing) and run the database_update.php file inside the install folder.

But before you do that try the support tool kit (search for it here) it can reset all the modules. Make sure to take a update.

Thanks so much for your response.

Will running the database_update.php inside the install folder do any harm to my forums / users? I'll make sure to disable the board first of course.

I'll search for that support tool kit, I'm assuming that resetting all of the modules will not hurt the forums / members data, and I'm sure I'll understand the update thing once I see it.

Thanks again!

Its a no on both of them. Both tools are made to be used on live boards with members and posts. All that wont be deleted or altered. Remember to backup. very importaint.
