i can't install phpbb3.0.5 in ixwebhosting, Help! thanks

im uesing the ixwebhoting .


when i stall the phpbb3.0.5 in the second step "Requirements"

it show me the "test again" button, not the "next step"

and it show me the follows info...( see the picture i uploaded)

can anybody please help me ~~ thanks ...

Add the following to the .htaccess file in your forum root:

Code: Select all

php_value mbstring.http_input pass
php_value mbstring.http_output pass

it still how me the Test Again..
The default .htaccess 's code is:

Order Allow,Deny

Order Allow,Deny

I'v added the code in the .htaccess wut you told me

Close the </files> AFTER the new strings you added.

No, how he had it was correct. You'll have to ask your host now. They must not let you set PHP values this way.
