User Registration and Custom Field

Postby Aishah » Tue Sep 22, 2009 5:00 pm

Hello,

Okay have two questions here.

Basically we set our forum registration to admin activation due to spam registration on 3.04 (at the moment I'm updating it to 3.05) so one member, when attempting to change their email address, had their account deactivated. Hence when I was marking all under inactive users thinking they were all spam, I didn't see the member's username in the list and deleted the account, until she emailed and I realised. Is there a way to get her account back?

Secondly, to prevent spam registration, upon registration I would like to add a question e.g. What is the first day of the week (but something more advanced). I was once given a link to a guide on here but I didn't understand it, so could someone put step by step instructions on here please?

Thanks in advance,
Kind regards.
