Replace the default login-page with my own

Post by johanengman »

I mean that i have seen somewhere that i could replace the default login-page with my own, but now I can't find any info about that. Do I remember wrong, or where do I find that info?

The file is login_body.html. You can edit it or replace it with another with the same name.

It's quite easy:

open the login_body.html file and use your fav editing software (such as notepad) to make the below edits by coping and pasting all the text into Notepad. You can find the file here:

STYLES > PROSILVER (presuming your using prosilver - if not then select the template your using) > TEMPLATE > login_body.html

find the following text within the login_body.html file:

Code: Select all

<form action="{S_LOGIN_ACTION}" method="post" id="login">
add after:

Code: Select all

	<div class="panel">
		<div class="inner"><span class="corners-top"><span></span></span>

		<div class="content">
			<h3>Add your main header here - for example: Changes to the forum</h3>
			<p>All text that you want to say should be entered here</p>
		</div>

		<span class="corners-bottom"><span></span></span></div>
	</div>

to add a new paragraph just do this:

Code: Select all

<p>blah blah blah blah</p>
<p>Another paragraph.. blah blah blah</p>
Copy all your new text (as well the default text) and paste it into the login_body.html file which was sitting on your server to begin with and save.

Then refresh your template and viola... you should notice your new updated login page!

Which will look like this:
