Question about registrations by admin

Post by fotografie.fr » Mon Dec 14, 2009 6:46 am

Goodmorning,

I activated registration to be authorised by the admin after the instructions I've got from some very helpfull people here.
I would like to see the text of the automatic email message...
"Welcome to http://www.WebsiteName forums
Please keep this e-mail for your records. Your account information is asfollows:
----------------------------
Username: XXXXXX
Password: °°°°°°
Board URL: http://www.WebsiteName/WebsiteForumSubdirectory
----------------------------
Your account is currently inactive, the administrator of the board will need to activate it before you can log in. You will receive another e-mail when this has occurred.

Please do not forget your password as it has been encrypted in our database and we cannot retrieve it for you. However, should you forget your password you can request a new one which will be activated in the same way as this account.
Thank you for registering.

... as it is send to the new gegistrar by the board to be changed .

Is that possible?

Thanks in advance for your reactions.
Kindest regards,

Stany

I didn't understand your post properly, so here's a wild guess as to what your after:

Do you want that email to have more information in it, such as your own information?

Goodmorning Nathan,
Thanks for your reaction.
I dislike anonymous posters who just come to ruin the good atmosphere on our forum or to post inappropriate content, so I would like that new registrators send the URL of their website and eventually some more information to the forum-admin-emailaddress in order to check before admin activates an account or not.
Hope my message is clear now...
Thanks in advance for your reaction.

I don't believe that is possible, unless you get all your members to email you with their link, which would be a bit annoying for them.

I think it has to be easy possible to change the text of the underneath automated email when the admin has to activate a new registration. Does really nobody know how to do that?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kindest regards,

Stany
