Board Time incorrect

Post by squeek »

seems i cant get my board to show the correct time, early this morning we in the UK moved our clocks forward by 1 hour and my board is set to [UTC] Western European Time, Greenwich Mean Time. the time still shows as 1 hour behind
when i enable the summertime option it doesnt make any difference to the time also do i need to keep enabling it each year whe clocks go forward and disable it for whe they go back each year? thanks

Every user needs to turn DST off and on for themself (in their own UCP) each time it changes.
Most boards cater to an international audience, so it's not appropriate to move everyone off and onto DST at the same time.
Changes you make in the ACP only affect guests (and non-logged in members).

It's up to you.
If you are catering to an internaitonal crowd, just setting it to UTC with no DST would be easiest.
If most of your members are from one timezone, you may wish to set that as the default, and turn DST off and on as appropriate.
