Viewtopic bug

Post by sweettahsin » Sun May 02, 2010 3:33 pm

Whenever I enter my site, it works fine. But whenever I enter any viewtopic area look what I find. A stupid little bug at the top.

How do I fix it?

It's asking for a file which is not part of phpBB.

Have you been adding a quick reply MOD? If so, you've missed out uploading a file it needs.

It seems, that files are missing. Can you post the complete error message? That would help more :)

And btw.. your style isn't updated. Skip to content should'nt be visable. ;)

Yeah but it failed

I tried using this mod

Code: Select all

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=839905
But i unfortunately it didn't work. I edited some files for no reason. Now I'm stuck wit those fies. Any idea how I can bring the original files back.

You should always make backups of files you're going to edit.

Do you have any other MODs installed?

*NOTE: Before proceeding backup all files and the database.*
  • Upload all new files from a download of the full version, except for config.php, the /images and /files folders.
  • Go to yoursite.com/forumfolder/install/database_update.php
  • Let that run and then delete the install folder.
  • You now have a new up to date board containing all your users and posts but without any MODs that you might have had installed.
