according to the documentation, section 18.104.22.168. Email settings:
This is not correct. I set as RETURN EMAIL ADDRESS email@example.com's.name.com. But the return path shows:RETURN EMAIL ADDRESS: This is the return address that will be put on all emails as the technical contact email address. It will always populate the "Return-Path" and "Sender" addresses in all emails sent by your board.
USE SMTP SERVER FOR EMAIL: no
PHP: 5.3.2 with FPM-Patch and mysqlnd
CentOS 5.5 x86_64
Guess I have to experiment with option "-f firstname.lastname@example.org's.name.com" of function mail() or use my SMTP server.
EDIT: This works, as I tested with a custom script:
Code: Select all
mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers, "-f email@example.com");
