Rank images and rank text not showing

Please describe your problem. I created an extra 6 ranks and the images were correct, and I set the post count for each rank. However when I go to a topic page or memberlist the rank is not showing. I also changed the admin rank image and now that is not showing either even though the path is correct and it shows in ACP.

I tried creating a new group but when I go to choose the rank it only shows the admin and moderator ranks. The others aren't in the drop down.

Just to add in aswell now the ranks show up but the user is not added to the next rank once they have reached the post limit. And I made myself admin as default and removed myself from global moderator group and registered users now I can only see 4-5 forums on my board, the rest are hidden and I don't know how to get them back.

Put yourself back in Registered users. Afdmins do not have any forum permissions by default, so you need to be in both groups.

Great working now.

And my other problem:

I have the default rank as Novice which is a special rank. Now the next rank is Casual which only needs 1 post to achieve it (testing it). Now i created a seperate account and made a post but it stayed at Novice, and still no change after 2 posts.

And the users with over 200 posts are still at novice.

Any reason why?

As you can see from the images the users rank image or rank text do not change.

"Novice" is a "special" rank on your board. i.e. there is no number to the right of it.
I guess you have assigned that rank to the "Registered Users" group, so it is over-riding the default ranks.

Change "Novice" to not be a special rank (with "minimum posts" = 0), and don't assign it to the "Registered users" group.
