When did your problem begin? i was notified this morning when someone contacted me after failing to register on my forum.
Please describe your problem. it seems that users get a mysql error message after submitting all their information on the registration form.

Screenshot: http://i45.tinypic.com/2nscft1.jpg

i went onto the IRC support to see if i could get live help, but i was told;
<Dicky> David_Miller, You should be asking the MOD author how to fix that. As an alternative see http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/doesnt- ... ue-errors/
so i tried to upgrade my mysql using this method, but still come up with the error message as shown above when trying to register a new account.

this problem is beyond my knowledge of phpbb so i would absolutely appreciate any help given to me.

thank you, -David

Are we supposed to actually be able to read the text in that image/

Describe EXACTLY the steps you took after you ran the script, specifically whether you ran the SQL queries it produced.

opps, sorry about the bad screenshot link. i have put up a new full shot.

and all i did was enable the script. upload it to my root folder 'public_html' and then run it from my website via: http://thefirmgaming.info/mysql_upgrader.php

it had taken me to another page that had nothing but plain text. so i thought that was it, and went back to the index of my forum and deleted the script from my web root folder

Has to do with some arcade mod...probably this one

phpbb_arcade_1.0.RC9_07-10-2009_115140

There is no user_permissions_arcade in a default install of phpBB3.

The script produces SQL queries that must be run in phpMyAdmin. Carefully read its instructions.

Ahh, I was just answering your question about how to run the mysql upgrader script.
That is NOT the correct fix in your case, as it is not a built in phpBB field causing the error.

There is no user_permissions_arcade in a default install of phpBB3.
You need to check that you installed this MOD correctly, and ask in the MOD support area if there is still a problem.
