Changing all users styles in phpMyAdmin...

Post by BigBlockMopar »

Can someone tell me if this is the correct way to change over all the forum users to style id number '8'?

Code: Select all

UPDATE `phpbb_users` SET `user_style` = '8'
Or do I need something else to with this command?

Some background info of what I'm trying to achieve;
I have a live forum with 1300+ members. Most of them have style nr. '8' as there user style, but about 150-200 'early' users still have style '2', along with all the search bots.
I have the 'Override user style' set to ON to style '8', but as an admin, I want to turn the Override user style OFF, and keep everyone seeing style nr. '8' for the time being, while I select a new style for myself and work on that style so it will match the layout of the rest of our website better.
When the new style is done and edited corectly I will turn on the Override style-function again so everyone will see the new style.
