In editor.js, line 162:

		mozWrap(textarea, text, ''):

That should be a semi-colon at the end, not a colon.

That didn't fix the problem, unfortunately. I've also noticed that the font colour menu isn't there except some text saying font colour where it should be. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That colon at the end should be a semi-colon.
Seriously, you could have found these yourself. In Firefox, open the Error Console on the Tools menu.

I'm the owner of that forum and I made those changes, still the problem did not go away. Can anything else cause this?
EDIT: I checked the Error Console and still it says it's a : instead of a ; But I really did change it.

Your buttons and smilies are working fine for me. Maybe your webbrowser has it cached.
