Google Site Description needs improving

Hi

I recently did a search on Google for some key words to see how my site stacked up. The results were OK, but what I noticed was that the site was simple called "Portal".

See #5 here - http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=brummi ... =firefox-a

What is it that I need to edit to make that something a bit more descriptive?

Thanks

Martin

The culprit is probably this:

Code: Select all

<meta name="title" content="Portal" />
And the above does not appear to come from phpbb.

I'm not sure it is to do with the Portal itself.

In overall_header.html, there are the following lines which seem to be at the centre of the problem:

<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no" />
{META_TAG}
{META}

One of these points to more meta tags, one of which is the one showing <meta name="title" content="Portal" />

If someone can be kind enough to let me know where to look for the files that have the block of metadata that has this in it, I can solve the problem.

Thanks

Martin

That is part of your portal. You will need to ask where you got that.
