Forum founder quit

Post by Romeoman » Thu Feb 17, 2011 9:31 pm

Hi!

I'm in a peculiar predicament. Our forum founder quit in a fit of rage for something like 6 months ago. We have a small but vibrant community and I kinda need to upgrade some of the members to admins. I'd also like to delete the unused founder accounts.

Now, I'm an admin but I can't handle the Founders (I see the name in red).

Is there anything I can do?

I thought access to the database was the same thing as being an admin. What do you know, it wasn't  .

Well, how can I check whether I have access or not? What am I to look for? As an admin I have the Control Panel screen and its Group Handling buttons but that is not the same as the database, is it? :?: ...

The site hosting the BB is mine, so no, she does not pay anybody anything.

Do you have access to phpMyAdmin, FTP etc?

You can make a user an admin or founder with either of the above.
