Moderation queue malfunction

Post by licensinglinks » Sun Mar 06, 2011 5:13 pm

I have 2 posts in my moderation queue. I can't get rid of them. I've even deleted the user.

I get this when I try to disapprove them:
"You are not authorised to access this area"

How do I fix this?

This is going to require some database queries. Let me try some things and I'll get back to you.

Executing SQL Queries in phpMyAdmin

Try the query below. Replace N with the post_id.

Code: Select all

DELETE FROM 'phpbb_posts' WHERE 'post_id' = N

Thanks for the help. I tried but unfortunately I got this message:
Error

SQL query:

DELETE FROM 'phpbb_posts' WHERE 'post_id' =5744

MySQL said: Documentation
#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''phpbb_posts' WHERE 'post_id' = 5744' at line 1

Try replacing the quotes with this:

Code: Select all

DELETE FROM `phpbb_posts` WHERE `post_id` = N

Thanks. There was no error message this time but it didn't make a difference. I cleared the cache too, but the posts are still there.
