Forum not staying at correct width

Post by panther collection »

Hi,

First of all sorry if this post is in the wrong section,

Currently my site is having a problem with forum width and images.

Basically my forum is OK whilst it is all text but as soon as someone introduces a picture it blows all the 'frames' out of proportion.

My site: http://fordfocusworld.com
A sample page of the issues I am having: HERE

Many Thanks

My guess would be that you have the "Maximum image width per post" in the Post Settings in Board Configuration either set to unlimited (0) or a size too large for your board width.
My board is about the same size as yours and mine works OK so I would set it to 1600 pixels and try that. If that is still too wide gradually reduce it.
If that does not cure it try "Image link dimensions" in Image Category settings under Board Configuration / Attachment settings. Mine is set to width of 670 pixels height 0 pixels.
Hope that helps, us car forums have to stick together!!

That image is 1024 px wide, so 1600 isn't going to work.
I can stop all your spam. I can upgrade or update your Board. PM or email me. (Paid support)

Thanks for the replies.

water01: That didn't work I'm afraid I have tried that already and again (just to make sure) and still no luck.

Kevin Clark: Thanks for that I have downloaded it and installed it but still has not worked. Have asked for support on that thread as more appropriate. Thanks and will update this thread once I know the outcome
