How to prevent user accounts deactivated upon email change

Post by trelken » Thu May 05, 2011 10:36 pm

My forum is current set for account activation by admin. The forum is private and I like this option. However, ever since the 3.0 upgrade whenever anyone changes their email address it deactivates their account and an admin must go in and manually activate the account again. I don't really care if someone changes their password and I don't want to be involved in the process if possible. I am on 3.0.8

thank you,

trent

This is a security feature, a nd as a matter of policy, we do not assist in circumventing security features. It may be fine for your private forum, but other may use the information in other contexts.
