Changin template - way for Admin to see changes???

Post by Praetorian Guard »

I am getting ready to change my template. Is there a way to have the new template visible to ME (admin) only as I add my mods back in??? Thanks!!

No.

However, what many people do for such development work is to set up a local copy of the board to experiment with changes and MODs on, see Installing and Setting Up Your Own Web Server.

Thanks. I have done that before in the past. Was kind of a pain in the arse... may try doing that again and then uploading it. Thanks again!

It's actually quite rare for users to change template away from what they got when they registered. I doubt they'd even notice that you'd added it.

You could add the style and do your modding to it and I doubt any of your users will even realise you've added the style until you tell them it's there.
