BBCode Issue

Post by helloclan13 »

Hey, if i try to add a new BBCode it gives me this message:

Code: Select all

Information:
You cannot create any more BBCodes. Please remove one or more BBCodes then try again.
I tried deleting one of my other BBCodes (Got 3) but no difference.
And i havent exceeded the limit of 16 items, what can cause this?

/Ted
I came here to chew bubblegum and write code, and im all out of bubblegum.

Execute this query in your database (e.g. via phpMyAdmin):

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE phpbb_bbcodes MODIFY bbcode_id mediumint( 8 ) NOT NULL default '0';
Open /includes/acp/acp_bbcodes.php and find:

Code: Select all

                        if ($bbcode_id > 1511)
Replace with:

Code: Select all

                        if ($bbcode_id > 8388607)

Thanks alot man, what i found in acp_bbcodes.php was instead:

Code: Select all

if ($bbcode_id > BBCODE_LIMIT)
But i replaced that with

Code: Select all

if ($bbcode_id > 8388607)
Then i ran the query and it worked. Great deal of appreciation!
I came here to chew bubblegum and write code, and im all out of bubblegum.
