Simnple Question re Groups

Post by oxfordsi »

Hi,

Is it possible for a user to attach themselves to more than one group?

In this case as well as being part of the Registered User group, can the same user join 'Special Group' themselves (without having to ask Administrator) whilst still being part of Registered Users?

Many thanks,

Simon

Yes. Whether they can do it without Administrator action depends on the group type. For groups you create (the user defined groups) it is possible.

Thank you for your reply, is it within the UCP that they can join the group?

I'm guessing it has to be an open group for them to join?
