Thanks. Just tried that. It deleted the users but not their posts, even though I definitely selected delete posts.Kevin Clark wrote:users and groups
You can select an option to delete the posts at the same time.
Then have a look at the sticky topic at the top of this forum on how to stop them joining.
Something really weird here. I selected 1000 topics and posts per page. I clicked mark all. I unchecked the topic I wanted to keep, and selected delete. But instead of anything getting deleted the same page just reappeared with the topic I wanted to keep unchecked and the last two topics at the bottom of the page also unchecked.Kevin Clark wrote:You should be able to delete them through the moderator control panel.
If necessary you can increase the posts per page option in the board settings to 500 or so to allow you to delete a lot more in one go.
I changed 1000 to 500 and it worked this time. But 4 spam bots have just joined in the last 30 minutes, so I'll have to get rid of them before I try out that security measure you suggested.Kevin Clark wrote:Does it work if you just select 10 instead of 1000? You might be asking it to do a bit too much.
