Horizontal rule bbcode not working in inheritance style

Post by datkeoniguy »

The bbcode, horizontal rule works properly in prosilver but not in a second optional style. All the other bbcodes work fine in both styles. I thought it might be a problem in template/bbcode.html but there is no such file in the second style so it must be inheriting this from prosilver.

It's strange only one bbcode doesn't work. Is there some other style file I should look at for a solution?

Could the rule just be invisible due to color issues? If you do a View Source, is the HR tag in there?

If it is, try changing your BBCode's HTML Replacement to include an explicit STYLE attribute:

Code: Select all

<hr style="color: FF0000; background-color: 00FF00;" />
See if that helps.

I tried different coloured backgrounds with no success, so that isn't the problem, It's not a huge problem at all, but still I'd like to solve it.

How about answering my second question? "If you do a View Source, is the HR tag in there?"

Also, maybe posting the BBCode details (BBCode Usage and HTML Replacement) and the style that you're using would be useful.
