Specific Moderator Permissions?

Post by CassieT » Thu Aug 02, 2012 2:30 pm

Brain freeze - I hate permissions  and I think I've been trying to research it and work it out for too long now, words are running together :(

I want one user to have full moderator permissions in one sub forum. She can be Queen Bee in that specific sub forum, but I don't want her being able to mod anywhere else on the forum.

Can I do that? If so, how do I go about it, given that I haven't even got a moderator group at the moment? (in words of one syllable, if possible.. )

Thank you in advance

Give that user or her group Forum Moderator permissions for that specific forum.

I don't have that option

The groups are admin, global mod and user.

So add a new group.
Or, as I said, you can give the Moderator permissions directly to the user, rather than to a group.
