updated my 3.0.10 t0 3.0.11 with database_update.php only

I could not get the 3.0.11 auto update to work by going to www.mysite.com/members/install and I kept getting a Fatal Error so after reading a few post I did the database update by doing www.mysite.com/members/install/database_update.php. The update completed and with no errors but it did say it was only a database update and I need to update my files also. The issue is i dont know what files or where to update.

Also if only the install folder part of the update is required as per the install guide why is the docs folder even included in the zip file

To manually update the files the code changes are here, 3.0.10 to 3.0.11. (The code box on the left is the old file the one on the right is the new file.)

It is included, because the files in the folder do not get ever get modified when using phpBB, so it is easier to just replace the files rather adding the new changes to them.

There isnt a folder that contains the new files explaining what folder they go in? You can not just copy paste over the old ones with the new ones?

What is the fatal error when you go directly to /install
What do you get if you go to /install/update
