Can't Open ACP Module Management

Post by nesmoke » Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:14 pm

After i first installed phpbb i was messing around in the mod section and tried adding a default mod (NO DOWNLOADED MODS ARE ADDED) and it error. I'm sure it was something i did wrong and I would like to reinstall phpbb3 BUT i do not want to lose my members or post. I also have my style set up the way i want it.

I just want this error to go away and allow me in the ACP Module Management again. Thanks in advance!
I have updated version of phpbb3

In the ACP>System>Module Management>ACP

I get the following error:
General Error
Module not accessible

BACKTRACE

FILE: [ROOT]/includes/functions_module.php

Are you able to run SQL queries in phpMyAdmin? Executing SQL Queries in phpMyAdmin

Could you run:

Code: Select all

SELECT * FROM phpbb_modules WHERE module_class = 'acp' AND parent_id = 0
and show the results of the query? (You may need to change the table prefix to the prefix being used in your database.)

Sorry, but the query you used is different from the one I gave you.
In your query: parent_id = 1
In the one I gave: parent_id = 0

Could you delete all files except .htaccess and index.htm from the cache folder, using your FTP client (e.g. FileZilla).
If that doesn't help, please run the Support Toolkit tool "Fix left/right ID's".
