Have you recently updated the board?
If so, did you also update your added language packs?

Hello Kuttus,

Although I do not know the cause of such an issue, you may want to check the overall_footer.html file for your active theme to see if the code for the copyright is still there.

You can edit the file via the ACP. I have a link on how to do that here:
http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/phpbb/general-settings/change-footer

The specific code will differ depending on your style. I have the code for both the prosilver and subsilver below.

prosilver (insert at line 22)
Code: Select all
<div class="copyright">
        {CREDIT_LINE}
        <!-- IF TRANSLATION_INFO --><br />{TRANSLATION_INFO}<!-- ENDIF -->
        <!-- IF DEBUG_OUTPUT --><br />{DEBUG_OUTPUT}<!-- ENDIF -->
        <!-- IF U_ACP --><br /><strong><a href="{U_ACP}">{L_ACP}</a></strong><!-- ENDIF -->
</div>

subsilver (insert at line 6)
Code: Select all
   <span class="copyright">{CREDIT_LINE}
   <!-- IF TRANSLATION_INFO --><br />{TRANSLATION_INFO}<!-- ENDIF -->
   <!-- IF DEBUG_OUTPUT --><br /><bdo dir="ltr">[ {DEBUG_OUTPUT} ]</bdo><!-- ENDIF --></span>

This will insert the default copyright info back into the footer.

Hope this helps!

Do not edit styles files in the ACP, because if you ever purge the cache, the edits will be lost. Download, edit, upload.

Do you have this line in includes/functions.php:

Code: Select all
'CREDIT_LINE'        => $user->lang('POWERED_BY', '<a href="http://www.phpbb.com/">phpBB</a>&reg; Forum Software &copy; phpBB Group'),

That line was added in 3.0.11. You don't say whether you updated your board from a previous version, but it would seem that you did and that the update didn't complete correctly. You could try just replacing the includes/functions.php file, but there may be other files which were also not updated correctly. Since you have not MODs it would be best to do a file replacement.

Before proceeding backup all files and the database.

  • Download the Latest Version.
  • Unzip to your desktop and open the phpBB3 folder.
  • Remove (delete) the config.php file, and the /images and /files folders from the package.
  • Via FTP upload the remaining files and folders to the root of your board installation on the server overwriting the existing files.
  • In your browser go to http://123seminarsonly.com/forum/install/database_update.php
  • Let that run to completion.
  • Via FTP delete the /install folder from the root of your board installation.
  • Done.
Only use a good FTP client, such as FileZilla, to transfer the files. (File transfer utilities provided in host control panels can cause problems.)

You will then need to adjust the /styles/prosilver/imageset/imageset.cfg file to account for the dimensions of your huge site_logo.gif file.
