That error was a MySQL bug that they claim to have fixed in 5.6.8, so if you are indeed using 5.6.14 it is unclear why that error would be returned.

Are you sure you are using 5.6.14? It has only been out for about a week and it would be unusual for a host to already have it available.

I`m using PHP Version 5.5.4 and MySQL(i) 5.6.14 on IIS 7.5
