Compare your language/en/acp/permissions_phpbb.php file to the one in the latest standard version to look for differences.

I used Win Merge and compared the two, there is no differences between the two files

Not sure if this helps or not but I did a search and found 1 instance of this in the database in phppbb_module

FROM `hangout_phpn1`.`phpbb_modules`
WHERE (
CONVERT( `module_id`
USING utf8 ) LIKE 'acl_a_'
OR CONVERT( `module_enabled`
USING utf8 ) LIKE 'acl_a_'
OR CONVERT( `module_display`
USING utf8 ) LIKE 'acl_a_'

ok I uninstall the Add User Mod and then reinstalled it

and got this for as results through the automod which interestingly enough this { acl_a_ } only shows under the User Role Permissions --> All Features section

Adding new permission option: a_add_user

Success
Setting permissions for the All Features role.

Success

Adding acp module: Add User

Success
Adding new config variable: add_user_version

Success

*edited to add, uninstalling the Add User mod however does not remove this from the All features role in permissions :?:

I too have this { acl_a_ } showing up in my All Features User Role in the Misc tab. Although I discovered it while trying to solve a link issue with my permissions page (viewtopic.php?f=46&t=2220001) and was wondering if it may be the cause of my problems.

Have you been able to remove this yet? Are you able to click on and view any of the other tabs in that Advanced Permissions table?

I have also been trying to find a way to manually edit the MySql database tables/arrays so that I could find this and manually delete the entry, but have not been having much luck figuring that out either.

go to the module section of the admin panel, find and remove it from there and it should go away.

the previous poster said he found that it is part of the add user MOD.

when you uninstall a MOD it will not always remove the database entries automatically.
