I may have missed a setting somewhere, could I please ask for advice ?
This thread is a sort of sequel to that other thread
I manage a forum that has two themes, a "cool" and an "uncool" one.
Following the kind advice I received here, I determined which would be the default theme for this forum, unless users chose another theme manually in their profile : ACP > Board Settings > Default Style > Overrride : no.
Well, here's the problem.
I found that non-logged in users were seeing the forum with the wrong theme, the "uncool" theme. Even though the forum's ACP determines the default theme is the "cool" one.
Then I tried ticking to override user settings, but sure enough, there have been people ranting I was forcing them and they prefered their uncool theme, and they were right to rant, ticking to "Override" prevents them from manually chosing the theme they like.
I looked into the user groups, I found no mention of a default theme for a given users group : Guests.
Please, would someone know why I may have this issue, and how I can fix it, how I can make sure the non-logged in visitors see the proper theme ?
Thank you VERY MUCH if you can help
