not that much clear?

I'm wanting to know how to find the Welcome PM in my ACP so I can put my site's name between the quotation marks. Right now, when a welcome letter is sent out, all it says is Welcome to " "

I don't find the answer to my question there, just a long list of threads that don't deal with what I'm experiencing.

I don't know what you mean by "mod". This is something that came with my board, not something I installed myself. I just can't find where to reconfigure the subject heading of it.

Also, it sends out this message when a person requests to join. It doesn't even wait to see if I approve their membership.

@Poor Butterfly
Are you talking about a welcome PM or welcome email? Standard phpBB doesn't have a welcome PM so that must be from a MOD.

Or you are talking about "Site Name & Description"?

Cuz Welcome PM is a MOD & no MOD comes up with a standard phpBB.

I really don't know what the name is, but it's what a person gets via email to welcome them as a new member, however on my board it sends itself out when they apply for membership. It doesn't wait to see if I approve them first.

I figured out it's in ACP>General>Board Settings. The Site Name has to be filled in. Since I used a jpeg for my logo, I had left that blank. The same problem was occurring with the Topic Reply Notification. Hopefully this will fix that issue, too.

That will sort it ;)

@BBWP (just a heads up) When I registered at your board by mistake, your Q&A was too easy - something like "what is the number below 6 and above 4?"; you need a Q&A that can't be answered by google (or any search engine)

Those email files are located in /language/en/email and are in text format. Purge the cache after editng any of them.
