When did your problem begin? Today. No changes have been done and the board worked fine for a couple of years before that.
Please describe your problem. Cannot access the board. When browser navigates to the index or any other page, a file starts downloading.

Today we lost access to our board. No changes have been done prior to that and the board worked fine for a couple of years before. After today, when trying to access the board, the file transfer begins and the board is not displayed.

If you haven't done something then your hosts have. You need to ask them what's changed.

And what could have been changed so the board started to behave like that?

Maybe I can change it back, before their feedback arrives.

It's possible the server permissions have changed.

Yes, it is working now, altough not quite without problems. They were migrating some data from one server to another and we neded to made some changes in htaccess file.

We currently have some issues with login. Some members (including myself) can't login to the board or to say it better - we can login, but after a second or two we get disconected. In the meantime this error appears on the screen:

Your hosts have updated php but your board version is too old to deal with it. You need to update.

Ok, I get it. Will it be sufficient if we update to just 3.0.12, or do we need to go to the 3.1.1 version?

3.0.12 is fine.
The 3.0 line will be supported for around another year yet.

We will upgrade to 3.1 eventually, but we're not ready for it just yet.
