ACP authentication loop

Post by phpBronyBoard » Wed Mar 11, 2015 1:43 am

I have a phpBB3 forum at http://marioforums.forumatic.com/ and I'm having a problem- whenever I try to log into the ACP, it asks for a password as expected, but when I enter the password, instead of redirecting me to the ACP, it goes right back to the authentication screen, and I can't get into the ACP as a result.
Additional details:
Clearing board cookies doesn't work.
This is the type of host where you have no actual access to the server, so I can't replace/edit any files.
I have contacted the host multiple times with no reply.
I hope I can get this fixed!

We don't have access to your files or database either so there isn't anything we can do.

Too bad, I guess I will have to use a different host then.

I have just run into this same issue. If the original poster sees, this, I could really use some help in how your situation was resolved.
